EXAM PATTERN

Step 1 is a one-day examination. It is divided into seven 60-minute blocks and administered in one 8-hours (Including breaks) testing session. The number of questions per block on a given examination form may vary, but will not exceed 40. The total number of items on the overall examination form will not exceed 280

1. Real talk, USMLE Rx is garbage. Do Kaplan after you finish Uworld. Switch the setting to only 'high yield' and just crank. Don't spend as much time as you did with UW but the anatomy is good and honestly I got a few questions right on the real thing solely because of the Kaplan Q bank.
2. Kaplan has been described to be much more esoteric. Not a resource directly based off first aid so there may be more out of left field questions. My plan is to finish rx in 2018 and start uworld 2019 to get through it twice before step. I guess i'll use kaplan to supplement any areas i feel weak in during this semester.
